Dragons

What if you knew that your greatest fears hold within them your greatest strengths. Wouldn’t you want to know how to conquer them?
In the West, The Dragon is a horrific and fierce beast symbolizing humanity’s worst moral qualities. These are what we know as our “inner demons.”
In the East, The Dragon is regarded as a divine and powerful entity – symbolizing prosperity, spiritual wisdom, and benevolence.

Like the principles of Yin-Yang, (the natural law of polarity), both of these Dragon-like traits exist in all of us. They’re expressed in our lives in ways such as Fear, Greed, Guilt, Hate, Apathy or in ways such as Compassion, Creativity, Inspiration, Abundance and Love.
Until we train the dragons within us, our own destructive qualities will block us from reaching our full potential. These are unconscious, self sabotaging traits – our inner demons. And they often show up as patterns in our lives until we deal with them.
In Eastern Philosophy, it’s believed that if you don’t conquer your inner demons, they’ll be passed down to your children. The great challenge is that your demons, or dragons, are totally subconscious. They exist within the paradigm of our belief system.

So in order to drastically change our lives we must train our inner dragons. They often appear during hardship, change and any situation with high emotional charge. They also dictate our perception, influencing our decisions at such a subtle level that we usually don’t even realize it. Either way, these ‘tests in life’ reveal our inner dragon and subconscious intentions.
Changing habits & setting goals only works at the surface level. And motivation doesn’t have any true lasting effect for the same reason. Under times of high emotion or ‘test situations’ you will revert back to your default programming – your unconscious mind.
Will you recognize these tests and know how to tame the dragon? Your inner dragon is the only true opponent in life, and it’s the toughest opponent you’ll ever face! In other words, the only thing holding you back is YOU – the unconscious you. On the flip side, the only thing that will truly empower you to your own greatness is YOU – the Dragon inside you.
Did you know that about 95% of your life is dictated by your unconscious mind? With a “full cup” of the mind, you can’t expect lasting change. As Albert Einstein said,
“You cannot solve a problem with the same consciousness that created it.” – A. Einstein
And if most of your life is dictated by your subconscious, doesn’t it make sense that the changes need to happen there? Again, that’s exactly where those inner dragons lay. Most people aren’t even aware of them. They see things and themselves as just the way it is, not realizing that even their perception is a choice.
Your inner dragons can either be your worst nightmare or your greatest ally. And the paradox is, it’s up to you! Now aren’t you ready to start training your dragon?
