Signs That You’re “Too Busy For Your Dreams”

The number one excuse of all time has to be “I’m too busy”.

Whether it’s an appointment, obligation, or even getting to the gym… for some people, it’s the number one excuse for anything and everything The real problem is when it becomes the excuse for your life, your dreams.

“I don’t have time,” “I have to work,” “I have this [thing] to go to,” “I’m tired,” “Maybe next time.” etc, etc.

You get busy all your life, for what?

We’re all so busy. Between work, feeding and taking care of the kids, endless household chores, shopping for groceries, dropping off the kids, picking up the kids, birthday parties, weddings, parties, graduations, baby showers, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Sports Games, etc, etc, etc.

Ever catch yourself in the trap of  ’making ends meet’ week after week, month after month, year after year, only to realize you haven’t really gotten anywhere? Those dreaded Mondays where you start the week by going to work to pay the bills. Days go by and you don’t even have the time to go to the gym, visit friends or spend time with family. Then the weekend finally comes and you end up spending the money you just made so you have to do it all over next week.

Welcome to the rat race. It’s the busiest place you’ll ever be. The only thing you’ve gained is perhaps a few material things, (and a few pounds). And,  you’ve lost tons of precious time. But why does there always seem to be time for your [boss]?

Yeah, most of us have been there. Just make sure you don’t stay there! Get your life back!! Remember why you’re doing it all in the first place.

Ask yourself, “Am I following my own schedule or someone else’s?” “Am I doing it for me or am I doing it for someone else?

Cause either way, you’ll definitely be busy!
